The Institute of Oil & Gas Research & Hydrocarbon Studies (IOGRHS) shall hold the Product Forum “Abuja 2021”- second (2) part on Friday, October 8, 2021, by 4 pm at the NICON LUXURY ABUJA, Nigeria; sequel to additional discovery on the on-going research project with the theme: “EXPLORATION OF THE USE OF PALMWINE AS FLUID CONTROL AGENT IN WATER-BASED DRILLING (FLUID) MUD”.The Institute will use the forum to provide updates on the ongoing research in respect of the discovery of palm-wine as a mud control substance in water-based drilling (fluid) mud. The number of persons that attended the first part of this programme was reduced drastically in conformation with the Covid 19 protocol(s). The Organising and Technical Committee of the Institute is still sticking to the Federal Government of Nigeria’s pronouncement on public gathering. Distinguished Fellows and Professional Members of the Institute are advised to make their reservations as usual. Organizations chosen are those playing in the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, maintenance, commissioning and de-commissioning business. Invitation has been extended to other corporate bodies that are into manufacturing, product assembly, plant development, distributive trade including other sectors that are playing support service to the overall development of the oil and gas industry. Admission to this event is strictly by invitation. The Institute wishes companies attending from outside Nigeria and Abuja a very safe trip. Accommodation reservations have been made at the venue of the event. Check-in shall be on Friday October 8, 2021.  Helpdesk is available from Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the NICON LUXURY Abuja, Nigeria in order to make attendance easy and assist participants with necessary administrative clearance. The Hotel promises to adhere strictly to all the Covid 19 protocols as outlined by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as usual.
